Terms and Conditions of Use – Igota

1. Nature of the service

Igota is a technology platform that helps users find nearby service providers, post service requests, and communicate with one another.

Igota does not provide the listed services itself and does not act as a contractor, employer, or agent for service providers or service seekers. The service provider is responsible for the service they provide and for the agreements they make with other users.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information when creating and using an account and keep your sign-in credentials confidential.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and should notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

We may restrict or suspend accounts in cases of misuse or breach of these terms, or when necessary to protect users or the platform.

3. Service provider profiles

Users may create a profile to offer their services and add their specialties, services, information, and content related to their work.

The service provider is responsible for the accuracy of the information and content they publish and for having the rights or permissions needed to use the photos and content they add.

A service provider's appearance on Igota does not mean that Igota guarantees them or endorses the quality of their services or qualifications.

4. Service requests

Users may post a request for a service they need, and service providers may express interest in the request and communicate using the features available in the app.

Users are responsible for the information they put in a request. A request must not include unlawful or misleading content or content that violates the rights of others.

5. Agreements between users

Any agreement about the scope of work, price, time of performance, warranty, materials, or any other terms is made between the users themselves.

Igota is not a party to the agreement between the service seeker and the service provider and does not guarantee the performance, quality, or outcome of the service or either party's compliance with the agreement.

Users should take the steps they consider appropriate to verify a service provider or service seeker before entering into an agreement or sharing additional information with them.

6. Payments between users

Igota does not currently process payments for services agreed between users.

Any payment for a service and its arrangements are made directly between the parties and at their responsibility, unless Igota offers a separate payment feature in the future, subject to additional terms explained when it becomes available.

7. Advertisements and promoted visibility

Igota may offer service providers paid options to promote or advertise their profiles.

Purchasing a promoted visibility feature does not guarantee requests, customers, or a particular commercial result. It gives the profile the benefits described for the selected plan during its term.

Prices, durations, and benefits are as shown to the user in the app at the time of purchase.

8. Conversations and content

Users may communicate and share text, photos, videos, files, and locations through the available features.

The app must not be used to post or send unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or threatening content, or content that infringes others' rights, privacy, or intellectual property rights.

Appropriate action may be taken against violating content or accounts when they are discovered or reported.

9. Reviews

Reviews should reflect a real experience and be honest and not misleading.

Reviews must not be used to abuse, extort, manipulate overall ratings, or publish prohibited content.

We may take appropriate action concerning reviews that violate these terms when there are reasonable grounds to do so.

10. Reports and platform safety

Igota provides ways to report users or content that violates the rules.

Reports may be reviewed and appropriate action taken according to the nature of the case and available information, including restricting content or an account when needed.

The reporting system must not be misused to submit malicious or misleading reports.

11. Location

Igota may use location to display nearby service providers and requests and calculate distances.

Location or distance information may be approximate and should not be relied on where an exact location is required.

12. Prohibited use

Igota must not be used for unlawful purposes, fraud, impersonation, harassment, abuse of users, attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts, disruption of the service, or publishing content that violates laws or the rights of others.

13. Service availability

We strive to provide Igota reliably, but we do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption or errors at all times.

Some features may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, security, development, or technical reasons beyond reasonable control.

14. Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Igota is not responsible for the quality, safety, or performance of services users provide to one another, or for disputes, agreements, and payments between them outside the platform.

These terms do not exclude or limit any rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable laws.

15. Account deletion

Users can request deletion of their account through:

My Account ← Settings ← Delete Account

The account and its associated data are handled in accordance with Igota's Privacy Policy.

Account deletion is final and cannot be undone.

16. Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained, deleted, and protected.

The Privacy Policy is connected with use of the Igota service and can be viewed in the app or on the official website.

17. Changes

We may amend these terms as the service develops, new features are added, or legal requirements arise.

The updated version will be published with its last updated date, and continued use of the service is subject to the terms then in effect, as permitted by applicable laws.

18. Applicable laws

Use of Igota is subject to the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, taking into account any mandatory rights granted to users under relevant laws.
